Jo still has her father's knife. Remembers the happiness and safety her family brought, entirely attribited to her dad. Hunts to feel close to him.

John took Dean shooting first when he was 6 or 7 OHHH 6 7 & apparently Dean bullseyed every single target. John smiled at him but Dean refuses to call it pride.

Jo goes off on her own and gets kidnapped.

Dean has disappointed Ellen, partially learns what happened to Bill and that it was John's fault. Uses Jo as bait.

They pull a Gertrude TMA and bury the ghost in cement.

Ellen thinks the boys are exactly as callous as John, nearly convinces Jo of the same.
