Initial Overview:

Psychic kid episode #2. Guy who can control people with his voice makes people do crazy shit, yo (thank u jesse pinkman). Has an estranged unknown brother, or, a darker half whom he inevitably either must kill or be killed by. Mind control is (also) rape!

Notes:

Dean wants to keep Sam's abilities a secret. He is afraid of other hunters seeing Sam as a monster like he does. Calls Sam a freak.

Jo hustles an old hunter out of some cash, demonstrates her shooting abiliites. Sam is in a rush-- afraid. Dean says hey. They don't want to tell Ash about Sam's visions but are sooooo fucking conspicuous about it that Jo makes them instantly and asks to help.

Sam says that the demon kids are all violent. Dean hates this. Sam is VERY afraid of this possiblity.

Dean blends better with the other hunters. Neither of them ever really attempt to participate in the roadhouse culture and don't talk to anyone but each other, Ash, Ellen, & Jo.

Dean marks a difference between Sam and the other demon kids for Sam's sake as well as his own.

Dean stays with Andy while Sam goes after the shooter. Andy steals the Impala. Shooter throws himself in front of a bus, Sam is devastated and blames himself (he was distracted by talking to Dean).

Dean "had OJ convicted before he got out of his white bronco" but isn't convinced Andy is the killer. This bothers Sam

Dean says everything we already knew. Sam freaks Andy out a bit but has a vision, garnering empathy. They kiki -- Andy names Sam's abilities a curse, says he has everything he needs.

Andy's evil twin kidnaps and tries to rape Andy's ex situationship, then tries to force her to committ suicide. → "I like it, so they like it too," "He's my family, not yours. You can't have him."

Wants Andy to join him in working for Azazel.

When you're being mind controlled, you understand that what you're being told to do is not what you want to do. Andy's situationship didn't trust that he'd never manipulated her, is scared of him now.

Andy's brother is insanely incestual. Motivation for killing was the denial of a fraternal relationship that he believes may have saved him from an abusive home. Andy kills him and then lies to the cops with his powers about it.

Ellen and Jo snipe at each other. Makes the boys on the demon, Sam admits he's psychic to Ellen. Dean is not happy about it. When asked, Dean says not all psychics are dangerous.
