Haunted family portrait's adopted daughter kills entire family and adoptive family-- the outcast, the stranger in the house. Who'd suspect her? A sweet little girl (1.15)? Some people are born tortured. Father tried to warn every victim about her, took the blame for her murders.

Notes:

Dean suggests a break. Trying to set Sam up. Sam summons him over like a little dog. Sam searches for cases in John's journal... euphemistically avoids the idea of Dean having sex with girls. (I have no idea what that last sentence means. I also watched this drunk. This is also about the time I started taking all my notes in cursive.)

Dean & Sam class divide. Dean eats at every opportunity-- portrayed as sloppy, dirty, messy. Belligerent towards authority. Waiting for movie on DaVinci Code-- uncultured.

Sam says art history is good for picking up girls. Dean says Sam should use Sarah for information.

Dean comments with mild surprise that Sam didn't have to have sex with Sarah for the information they needed. Layered ass statement.

SamDean break into house on Dean's perogative, burn painting which regenerates. Dean makes Sam go back to Sarah's wants him to recover from Jess. "Me & my brother"

Sam has to tell Sarah the truth. Takes blame for ghost's victims. Goes along for absolution & to prevent it happening again.

Sam believes annyone he gets close to will die because of him. Refers to himself as cursed again. Sarah accepts this & half-reality checks him (women are people) but Sam reveals that he is more scared of himself getting hurt and hurting than anything else. Dean is not included in these statements.

Ghost is not dead when Sam & Sarah go in the house. What kind of household doesn't have salt? Low-sodium freaks! Have to burn childhood toy.
