• Dean wants to kill him-- has powers = monster. Sam understands him & his desire for comeuppance based on how he was treated. Wants to help him get himself under control.
• Blamed for his mother's death
• "When you found your dad..." "I woke up."
• Gifts enable him to break free of fear instead of running away
• Mom died, dad + uncle turned into mean drunks, abusive. Stepmother stood by to let it happen
• REVENGE--FREE THE OBSERVER--TO SEEK MORE?--OR KILL YOURSELF

Gun cleaning scene! Sam has a waking vision, Dean is very freaked out and Sam says he's also scared. Terrified of what's happening to him. Sam might be a monster...

It's never been in the family before...

Dean immediately gets Sam gone while he looks inside the apartment

Sam blows up closet with mind for Dean. He never does anything remotely like this ever again
